Guidelines for Using the ASCC Accreditation Logo

The ASCC Accreditation Logo represents credibility, trust, and compliance with international accreditation standards. To maintain its integrity and prevent misuse, all accredited bodies must follow the official guidelines when using the ASCC logo.

Who Can Use the ASCC Logo?

The ASCC Accreditation Logo can only be used by:

Accredited Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) authorized by ASCC.

Organizations that have received official accreditation from ASCC and are in good standing.

Marketing and communication materials where accreditation needs to be highlighted correctly.

Note: Logo cannot be used by companies that are not accredited by ASCC or by certified organizations claiming accreditation status.

Proper Use of the ASCC Accreditation Logo

Placementa

The logo should be used only on official business documents, certificates, websites, and promotional materials.

Size & Format

The logo must be displayed in its original format, without distortion or modification.

Color & Clarity

The logo must be used in its official colors and must remain clearly visible.

Accompanying Text

When used, it must be clear that the logo represents accreditation and not direct certification

Example: “XYZ Certification Body is accredited by ASCC for providing ISO certification services.”

Restrictions on Logo Usage

No Misleading Claims

The ASCC logo cannot be used to imply that ASCC certifies or approves individual products or services.

No Unauthorized Use

The logo cannot be used by organizations that are not accredited by ASCC.

No Modifications

Do not alter, resize disproportionately, or change the colors of the logo

No Use on Non-Accredited Certificates

The ASCC logo must not appear on certification documents issued by non-accredited bodies.

Logo Misuse and Violations

Failure to comply with the ASCC Logo Usage Guidelines may result in:

Formal warning and request for immediate correction.

Suspension or withdrawal of accreditation in cases of repeated misuse.

Legal action if the logo is used fraudulently or misleadingly
